"He is the One whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins."
My soul must feel like praising my Savior, as I seem to be staying on the same subject every time I sit down to write, and that is okay with me, as I pray it is with you. I seem to keep reflecting on Jesus as He sits at the right hand of the Father. The right hand in the Bible, by the way, is a sign of power and strength; did you know that? Jesus, our Lord, once crucified, dead and buried, now sits at the throne of glory - the highest place that heaven affords is His by undisputed rights. He is exalted at the Father's right hand. He has the highest of glory and authority that finite, created creatures cannot share. As Mediator, He wears the highest honors no one else can wear. Yet, He has a very close bond with us - the covenant of His blood; so close a union that we are actually one with Him. We are members of His body and His exaltation is our exaltation. He has a crown and He also gives us crowns. He has a throne and invites us, His bride, to sit with Him on His throne. He shares His glory, His power and His love with us as we worship Him along our earthly journey. As you read this today, dear reader, look up to Jesus. Let the eyes of your faith behold His beauty and grace. We will one day be like Him, so why not look upon Him now? When I say we will be like Him does not mean we will be as great as He, or as beautiful, or as divine, but, to a certain measure, we will share the same glory and enjoy the same happiness and the same dignity which He possesses, simply because we are heirs to all that God has for us in Him. Is that great or what? We will reign with Christ, because Father God has made us kings and priests unto God, and with Him we will reign eternally. Uh, that excites me and I hope that it does you too; after all, that is our blessed hope, is it not? What a wonderful thought for the children of God. We have Christ as our glorious representative in heaven's courts now and He soon will receive us unto Himself to be with Him there to behold His glory, the glory that the Father gave Him for His sacrifice on Golgotha Hill. There we, the children of His pasture and the fruit of His sacrifice, will share the joy of His salvation. Glory to His name now and forever more. Thank you, Father, once again today. My soul and my heart never cease to praise You for all that You are to us. In the name of Jesus we praise your Holy name, Amen. I love you all, Daniel Leal
