"He is the living God. 
His dominion shall endure to the end."
  Daniel 6:26    

I praise and worship my God for His ATTRIBUTES, among other things.  There are seven beautiful descriptive attributes of God mentioned in the New Testament.

Stephen called Him, “The God of Glory” as he presented his defense to the Jewish council, just before he was martyred. He, indeed, saw “the glory of God” (Acts 7:2, 55) as he gazed into heaven.

The Apostle Paul later called Him, “The God of patience and consolation,” when he was urging his fellow Christians to be “like-minded one towards another.”  (Romans 15:5)

In the same chapter, He also called Him, “The God of hope,” when he blessed them in prayer.  “Now may The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.”  (Romans 15:13).

To the Christians in Corinth, Paul wrote, the “God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation.” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4),

and later wrote that “the God of love” would be with them. (2 Corinthians 13:11)

In Philippians 4:9 he wrote, “the God of peace,” and in 1st Thessalonians 5:23 reiterated “and the God of peace sanctify you wholly.” 

The seventh of these beautiful descriptions was written by the Apostle Peter, “The God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.”  (1 Peter 5:10)

And, so, my brethren, this is the reason I praise my God:  He is my God of Glory, my God of patience and consolation, my God of hope, my God of all comfort, my God of love, my God of peace, and my God of all grace!

Do you wonder now why I (we) praise Him?

We praise You for all that You are, mighty Father, God of all mercy and grace.  We adore You, we bow before You.  You are our mighty God and in the name of Jesus we adore You today.  Amen
