An Encouraging Word
I Can Do All Things Through Christ

“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13
This is not some cheap wall decor verse for me. There is power in these words.
… Through Christ, I have the ability to stand when the ride gets rough.
… Through Christ, I keep my hope and faith.
… Through Christ, I don’t despair when everything looks bleak.
… Through Christ, I learn that it’s His will and not mine.
… Through Christ, I learn to trust Him, when everybody calls me nuts.
… Through Christ, I keep learning how to accept His chastisement.
… Through Christ, I understand that life isn’t always fair, but that God is just.
… Through Christ, I understand that this life has tribulations, and that it will pass.
This verse has been misused a lot, but it still is one that reminds me that without His power I am nothing. I hope and pray that in our darkest hours, we will hold onto Him as our lifeline.
The world is going mad and we are still in it. We will witness very dark times and situations. I pray that all of us will still find joy in Jesus and keep our lamps full and shining bright until the day He comes back for us.
We are here for a reason, and He has equipped us with all the tools to stand and face the music, when the time comes.
So when the hour of decision arrives, let us remember this verse:
“I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.”
Be blessed and take heart.
“If God is for us, who can be against us?“
