What’s going on with the Rice? Is this a Sign from Above?

By now we have all heard that hard times are ahead for America. The Cable News Channels are actually talking about the struggling economy and what it holds for our future.

And still, some news broadcasts have experts who argue whether or not America is in a recession.

Are they kidding! Look around Mr. Newsmen!

Recently, a guest on CNN said that according to his estimates, we are going to see America in a depression within two years. Of course other experts disagreed.

The experts, with their two cents of knowledge, debate and decide the rating of our economy, while millions of Americans already suspect that we are facing a future that is uncertain, grim and fearful, at best.

While the President still proclaims that we are not in a recession, many of us can see that what we are witnessing right now is history in the making.

If the Lord tarries, our children will be able to look back at 2008-2009 and tell their children how it was the beginning of Great Depression II. They will be able to share stories on how they waited in line with their mom and dad for government food rations and lived through the greatest economic collapse of the once powerful USA.

Is this possible? Are we really witnessing the beginning of an economic crash?

If so, how can this be?

The Bible tells us that God always tries to warn the people before He delivers judgment:

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7

In the last few years, God has been delivering His words of warning through His Prophets and Watchmen. Overall, the evangelical churches have shut their doors to these servants of God.

The spiritually dead shepherds have brainwashed the people and convinced them not to hear the messengers from God. And the people listened!

What was the message? It was simple, repent! But they did not repent!

God warned that if the church did not repent, He was going to send a famine to the land, collapse the economy, send a plague and allow attacks on American soil.

Will it happen? Sorry, that is the wrong question. It has begun!

Today, throughout America, people are losing their homes to foreclosure in today’s mortgage meltdown.

The once mighty America that built things, has lost its jobs as they have been sent overseas, never to return!

The once mighty America that built cars for the world has been abandoned by greed and now gets her cars from overseas. As a result, Michigan is in a depression! And Detroit has houses for sale for under $1,000!

People are selling things on the website CraigsList just to buy gas so they can get to work on Monday.

And then there is the rice! Rice is being rationed in America! How can that be, in America, the land of plenty? I have heard people argue that rice is really not “unavailable”; the rationing was just a precaution.

Well, whatever the reason is, it still doubled in price in the last 2 months.

In the book of Revelation, we see "Famine", the rider of the black horse, released upon the earth. It never says that there will be no food. The Bible just says that it will be VERY expensive.

“When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see." So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius;…” Revelation. 6:5,6

A denarius was a days wages at that time.

So are we witnessing just an American economic downturn, or …the beginning of the Apocalypse?

What did Jesus say? In the book of Matthew chapter 24, He said that before the end came, we would see the "Time of Sorrows".

My friends, I submit to you, that these times have begun. The events of Revelation will be preceded by the "Time of Sorrows". How long will this period last? I do not know!

I do know one thing, God wants our attention. Front and center!

But while people go to church, even now, what are they hearing from the pulpit? They are hearing the same old lies from the false teachers. “God wants to bless you and take away your poverty.”

Sadly, the blind sheep will continue attending the fake churches that have turned into motivational seminars, with greedy pastors milking them dry.

So is there still a chance? Will people turn to God and stop what is coming?

Sorry, my brother or sister. It cannot be stopped. God’s cup of judgment is full and He is starting to pour. The only thing that we can do is try to seek shelter.

If you are reading this, it is because you are seeking answers. You want the truth on what to do. Fortunately, there is an answer.

What to do? Become a part of the "Remnant" - Elect of God. Allow God to touch you where you are, wherever that may be.

If you are away from God and backslidden, return to your first love.

If you are His already, continue to grow closer to Him.

If you do not know Jesus, repent, and give your life to Him.

No matter where you are, you are not alone. There are thousands of "Remnant" believers just like you. You know that God is about to judge this land and want to know what to do.
